Facilities
Our 75-acre private facility is set in the scenic foothills of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Campers tell us, year after year, that River Way “feels like home” because of the comfort, beauty, and warm atmosphere. Conveniently located in California’s Central Valley near the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, we welcome campers via airport shuttle pickup* or bus transportation from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco.

Cabins
All of our camper cabins feature heating and air conditioning, carpeting, spacious closets, and bunk beds for 8 to 10 campers and 2 counselors. Most of our cabins have a private bathroom and shower located in each room. Our newly built dormitory building has community bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling private toilets and shower stalls. Waterfront Activities
In addition to using the nearby Pine Flat Lake for waterskiing and wakeboarding, our campers enjoy our private, on-site lake for activities such as canoeing, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, “blobbing”, and fun on the Atlantis inflatable obstacle course.
Our facility also features 3 swimming pools, including a Junior Olympic-sized Aquatic Sports Center with water volleyball, water basketball, and lap swimming lanes. Campers can also keep cool with our 4 enclosed water slides or relax for a bit in the heated jacuzzi.
Dining
Overlooking the lake, our shaded, outdoor dining patio is always enjoyable. While gathering with bunkmates and new friends for some great food, our campers are kept cool with the use of our commercial misting system. One of the most magical moments? When the “Camp Dance” song comes on the PA system, campers and staff alike jump up to do the annual camp dance together and the camp spirit is felt throughout the patio!
Health Center
Our fully-stocked Health Center is home to our wonderful medical team. There is a general medical room and private examination room, as well as additional private rooms with beds should a camper or staff member become ill and need to quarantine and/or recover. This is also where daily, or as-needed, medication is dispensed. Our medical team lives at camp 24/7 in the unlikely event of an emergency. Learn more about our health services!
